Setup guides for connecting services to Zethos

Gmail

Send emails through Gmail SMTP. Requires an app-specific password.

Step 1: Enable 2FA

Go to your Google Account settings and enable 2-Factor Authentication if not already enabled.

Step 2: Generate App Password

Visit myaccount.google.com/apppasswords

Create a new app password for "Mail" and copy the 16-character code.

Step 3: Configure in Zethos

In the Zethos app, click Connect on Gmail integration and enter:

Email: your@gmail.com

App Password: [16-character code]

Discord

Post messages to Discord channels using webhooks.

Step 1: Open Server Settings

Right-click your Discord server → Server Settings → Integrations

Step 2: Create Webhook

Click "Webhooks" → "New Webhook"

Choose the channel where messages will be posted

Click "Copy Webhook URL"

Step 3: Configure in Zethos

Paste the webhook URL in the Discord integration dialog.

Notion

Create and update Notion pages and databases.

Step 1: Connect Account

Click Connect in the Zethos app

You'll be redirected to Notion to authorize access

Step 2: Grant Permissions

Select which pages/databases Zethos can access

Click "Allow access"

Note

Zethos can only access pages you explicitly share with the integration.

Google Drive

Upload, download, and manage files in Google Drive.

Step 1: Connect Account

Click Connect in the Zethos app

Sign in with your Google account

Step 2: Grant Permissions

Zethos requests access to:

  • View and manage files
  • Create folders
  • Upload files

Slack

Send messages to Slack channels and DMs.

Step 1: Authorize Workspace

Click Connect in the Zethos app

Sign in to your Slack workspace

Step 2: Complete Setup

After authorization, copy the token provided

Paste it in the Zethos dialog

Dropbox

Sync and manage files in Dropbox.

Google Cloud Storage

Upload and manage objects in GCS buckets.

Step 1: Create Service Account

Go to GCP Console

Create a new service account with Storage Admin role

Step 2: Generate Key

Click the service account → Keys → Add Key → Create New Key

Choose JSON format and download

Step 3: Configure in Zethos

In the Zethos app, upload the JSON key file
